Workshop Overview

Saudi Arabia captured the World’s attention with its bold and ambitious agenda, Saudi Vision 2030. Independence from Oil revenues! Extensive announcements, including a share-sale in the world’s biggest oil company, is fast tracking the process of private sector participation and Industrial development. The current oil price crisis and economic stress is compelling the Kingdom to transform and is set to create the world’s biggest Sovereign Wealth Fund by welcoming International investments and privatizing state-owned companies. Envisioning to increase non-oil revenue to USD 120 Billion per year, by 2020 and a six-fold growth to USD 266 Billion by 2030, Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and transformation is encouraging a progressive political environment, more liberal immigration policy and a robust economy.

Industrialization in Saudi Arabia has achieved prominent accomplishments in the recent past. The industrial sector through Government support will play a key role in achieving strategic and economic goals of the country. The National Transformation Program NTP 2020, the premier step to Saudi Vision 2030, promotes entrepreneurship culture in the Kingdom which is likely to accelerate the non-oil private sector GDP growth to 2.8% in 2017. The key objectives of the transformation program is to Saudize the Industrial Equipment sector and to develop and strengthen the manufacturing sector internationally.

Nispana Innovative Platforms has established the demand to garner champions with competent know-how to host the inaugural “Saudi Privatization Workshop” which has been conceptualized to understand Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, by bringing together national, international experts and stakeholders from various sectors to discuss the opportunities available in privatization and industrialization. This Workshop will be a perfect platform to reach C-level executives like Chief Investment Officers (CIOs), Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Chief Operating Officers (COO), Chairmen, Managing Directors, Presidents and Vice Presidents to collaborate and evaluate the development of relevant legislations and policies that define the privatization framework per the VISION 2030 plan.
